The FaB Origins . Why FaB . Fátima Brito
My grandmother taught me to knit at the age of 6. As a child I used to hand knit scarves for everyone in the family and really enjoyed experimenting with different stitches and yarns.
When I joined a professional ballet company, I started knitting legwarmers and pants for myself and my dancer friends. Dancers need to keep their muscles warm, they also like to feel “pretty”, and I really wanted to make lots , but by hand it was all very slow…
One lucky day I was “introduced” to a knitting machine… A friend of mine was selling one second hand… That was the beginning of FaB!
FaB as in my name initials (Fatima Brito) and also FABULOUS, as in… fabulous looking!
Why FaB
The FaB Models are knitted individually to suit your temperament and your needs, playing with a wide range of delicious colours and stunning patterns, chosen by you.
With FaB Dance Knitwear you will not only keep your body warm and comfortable, you will also look FaBulous!
